2015 is the FOURTH edition of the annual Jennings Rivers Ride
FOUR stunning Lake District sportive routes for cyclists of all abilities
ONE great charity – the Cumbria Community Foundation
The Jennings Rivers Ride reveals some of the UK’s finest scenery and cycling terrain from the heart of the Lake District all the way out to the Irish Sea. It’s a series of four sportive rides which start and finish in Keswick. It’s called the Jennings Rivers Ride because sections of the routes follow the affected river courses and criss-cross over many of the bridges that were either destroyed and replaced, or were badly damaged, during the Cumbrian floods in 2009.
Cycling For A Reason
The Jennings Rivers Ride is held to raise money for the work of Cumbria Community Foundation. The Foundation is at the heart of community life. Cumbria Community Foundation make grants to local charities and people in need. These grants help young people and older people, those living with disabilities and those recovering from illness.
Your entry fee covers the cost of staging the event and all additional proceeds go directly to The Cumbria Community Foundation. If you would like to learn more about Cumbria Community Foundation check out their website.
